Seeing the comment earlier about a 'Sitainer' made me think - some job sites do not have lavatories !

How about Festool producing a 23 Gauge pin nailer!  With the kind of work Festool products are superior at, a pin nailer would be a significant "family" product.

In the meantime, I guess I'll be buying a Grex....since it's Green! [big grin]

On a serious note, I wonder how far fetched this actually may be considering Festool's affiliation with Schneider air compressors.  I don't believe they produce guns, just compressors, but they expertise may be there.

Festool already makes some air sanders, but not sure what they would do to improve on a nail gun - would be interesting to see what they might come up with, but consider the reason they haven't come out with a competitor to the MultiMaster (like all the other tool companies are doing)...

Ya that's the crux.  Their philosophy of "we wont make it if we cant improve upon it" is an opportunity lost here IMO.  I think most all of you guys would gobble up a Festool pinner in seconds.

A natural for the SYS-MFT would be to package it with a couple of quick clamps, with the normal package discount!    [eek]  I plan on using mine to store my MFT accessories in.   [big grin]

Hi,

Welcome to the FOG!  [smile]

Do you mean the sort of cup shaped one that attaches to the bottom of the base, and is currently black?

They really need to make an air compressor.  A nice quiet one that is built into a Systainer 5.  I keep a 1 gallon Craftsman in a Sys5 so it can stack, but I can see at least 2-½ gallons fitting in there if a custom tank was fabricated.  And hookups and gauges on the outside, please!!
Using a good tool to do a good project for a good client makes me feel good.  Remove any of the three and things aren\'t so fun anymore.

A Schneider compressor in a systainer is already available from TTS (owner of Festool/Tanos/Protool/Schneider).

In Holland there is also a non TTS compressor in a Festool systainer.

I wish they expand their cordless line with a  small cordless circular saw. I don't want to have different type of battery to charge if I can help it. This would expand nicely their cordless system.

An attachment for the tools that hooks up to the tool in order to change vac speed without going to vac.  Used from sanding on low to sawing, routing on high....   Also I would like crown detents on my kapex like hitachi.  Thats kind of a tool improvement but still would be nice.

Here's the link for the product listed above. Compressor in Systainer 4

Unfortunately, the system is rated at 90DB....wayyy too loud!

Rolair should look at putting their excellent, and QUIET JC10 in a systainer package like that one!

Wish Grex would team up with festool and release a 23g micro pinner & 18g brad nailer combo in a custom systainer.  Then I will be happy.

+1 on the thickness planer that fits in the CMS.

Also a small drum sander for the CMS simular to the small jet one.

Also a long systainer to hold 1400 guide rails, make a kit with some clamps connectors etc.

I don't have a cms (yet!), but I would like to see a compact power feed that came fitted in a systainer.
