I'd like something like a RAP 80/RAS 115 (which appear to be pretty much the same unit with different gear ratios), but with a multi speed gearbox.  A really low ratio plus a drill chuck  so it can be used like a Milwaukee Hole Hawg, medium ratio for polish and light sanding, high speed for heavy sanding.
Also, bring back the BF1 powerfile/mini belt sander attachment for the same unit.

2.6 amp batt at 15V.
If you don't like Signatures, just go to Look and Layout and tick No Signatures.

@Untidy Shop sadly I think Festool's love affair with 15V ended a while back. I have only the C15 and Ti15 in 15V, but I have a C18 and if Festool bring out a "Ti18" I'll be selling all of my 15V stuff along with several extra batteries.

I also have a 12V and a mains Protool DWC's ... I'd grab an 18V DWC and ex the two Protools as well

I don't get it, I have 4 of these. Or do you mean a low profile battery?

Festool Wishlist (not in order, and +1 to a few others wishes)

* Air compressor in Systainer
* 18v Brad/finish nailer or even framing nailer
* 18v reciprocating saw with dust extraction
* 18v impact driver, shadowless LEDs
* Double battery charger
* Wet tile saw/s, TS for strait cuts, jigsaw for curves/custom cuts
* Bag fullness indicator on dust extractors
* A plug-it cord with a button on the tool end to turn on dust extractor manually
* Vecturo with dust extraction
* Air scrubber in Systainer
* An AC adaptor for the battery-powered tools that attaches the way a battery does.
* release the auto-feed drywall adapter or drill in the US

And an end to NAINA while you're at it...

I'd be really curious how much is fundamentally NANIA v's NAI110V v's other reasons.

My understanding with CMS modules is cost of hoops to jump through. CMS OF2200 issues are unclear to me.

This times 1,000.  Give me a 3/4 to 1 gallon tank, 3 to 4 CFM at 90 PSI, at about 60-65db max packed into a SYS 4 or 5.  Something you can run a finish nailer off of when working alone, not doing 100 nails per minute with someone racking the materials for you.  Winner winner chicken dinner. Not an engineer, so don't know if it is possible...

Actually no, I've got a non Festool jig like that and they're just barely OK and not accurate.  From Festool I'd rather see a base that attaches to the body of a Festool drill, not one that provides an intermediate chuck, provides a rigid flat base, has a solid back spine, and uses a cam action to raise/lower the drill into the work and maybe has a depth stop.  Like a real drill press.  A first try would maybe have form fitting holders that match the shape of the specific drill body to hold it in place, but future possibilities would be putting standardized attachment holes in the top of future drill models which would be used to mount the drill into a single holder.  Bonus points if that solid base was a modified Systainer (maybe with an aluminum top section) which could be used to store it.

Drill press attachment.

Is  https://www.festool.co.uk/Products/Accessories/Pages/Detail.aspx?pid=768768&name=Drill-stand-for-carpentry-GD-320 (768768) the sort of thing you mean?

A jig or housing to use the mortise and tenon dominoe as a stand alone unit. So repeatability and production can or could becom it's function. Instead of just hand use.

I wish Festool made a Blum hinge drilling attachment. One that can drill the cup as well as the screw holes.

What's wrong with the Blum Ecodrill? It does a fine job drilling the holes you're asking for.
Do you think Festool will make a better one as they always claim?

A cordless OF1400 Router. Id like to see something similar to the cordless plunge saw set up where you can run it with a single 5.2ah 18v battery or double them up to run at 36v.

I work a lot on site and am bored of lugging a huge generator about, constantly refuelling it.

Alternatively, a Festool power hub with a giant battery pack allowing me to run 110v tools from it and to charge Festool batteries simultaneously. Something I would recharge at home overnight.

The second either of these hit the market. I'm in.

If Festool made it there would be 5 more moving parts. Yes they'd be green but I don't know how they would improve it. By the way, Sommerfeld makes knock-off of the Blum jig that's works just as well and it's yellow if you prefer that.

Makes me wonder why the Proclaimers (Scotts) wrote their very catchy song in the 80's as "I would walk 500 miles"...

And you are all welcome for singing or humming that in your head for the rest of the day!  ;^)

Cheers.  Bryan.

I wish Festool made an attachment so the Syslite could be clicked on to the end of the boom arm to cast light on my table, it could be a great inexpensive accessory.

Another idea is to sell a separate light for this function or even include an LED down light in the boom arm kit.

I rigged up my own LED attached to the boom arm for now.

The one who says it can't be done should avoid interrupting the person doing it.
