I wish Festool made an attachment so the Syslite could be clicked on to the end of the boom arm to cast light on my table, it could be a great inexpensive accessory.

Another idea is to sell a separate light for this function or even include an LED down light in the boom arm kit.

I rigged up my own LED attached to the boom arm for now.

I wonder if this "umbrella light" would be useful?

A table saw that is available in the USA :(

I'd love to go cordless on my finish nailers, piners, and staplers... I bought my Kapex largely for doing trim and it would be nice to have a Festool compliment to that job... it would be sweet to loose the air and cords for nailing, but I don't feel like very many companies have engineers that would be able to pull it off.  A 16ga. and 18ga. finish nailer would be very nice cordless (especially if they could get the power out of 1 battery for added balance), and a pinner and stapler might be good additions WHEN the nailers are sucessful.  They'd probably need a different looking battery pack, but it would be nice to be able to use the same chargers.  Here you go you crazy Festool geniuses... a challenge!

Obviously a cordless multi-tool and possibly a cordless grinder.  Cordless everything... the quality in these cordless tools leaves the competition in the dust.  Despite the crazy amounts of engineering in the drill, that one doesn't impress me much, but the track saw and Carvex are both huge upgrades from the corded versions of the same tools.

A cordless leaf blower w/ serious power would be nice... I'd prefer to get something like 6 or 8 batteries on a blower and be able to thrive w/o the inconvenience of gas.  Also it would introduce all the neighbors to Festool quality, so consider that suggestion marketing potential.  A blower can save a lot of time.

I gotta say Festool, I'm in love with your cordless.  Keep the cordless coming and I'll keep buying it!  Please take your time in the details, but don't stop adding cordless options!  So far you guys are killing it when it comes to cordless!  Keep up the good work!

+5 to this:

* Air scrubber in Systainer

+2 to these:

Quote
* Air compressor in Systainer
* An AC adaptor for the battery-powered tools that attaches the way a battery does.

+1 to these:

Quote
* Bag fullness indicator on dust extractors
And an end to NAINA while you're at it...

Integrating an air scrubber into the dust extractors might also be an interesting concept?

A delay timer so that the CTs would keep going for a some time after you turn the tool off to clear the air, or to run continuously when you're doing a lot of drop sawing.

Just put the ct in manual mode and it will do exactly that!

I'm think the sprung nature of the plunge on these saws would make the action/use of them pretty tricky on the FSK cross cut rails. . .

You can also simply keep the saw running for a few seconds after you stop making sawdust.

It works without problems with a normal (not clamped down) FS rail that differs to in not being attached to the saw and not having the nice angle stops - so the plunge should work with the FSK rail too.

I noticed it right away the CT 48 have such a short duration after switch off it aggravated me 3 seconds? I think more like 1.5 to 2 seconds in reality. I thought I was imaging things, but I checked m the CT 33  and it stays on about twice as lone as my CT48's after tool switch off, almost 5 seconds and it makes  huge difference.

As far as cut off sawing I get that, but just get one of these from Christian,  I wish it worked for my old CT 33's as well. I use to trigger my tool on and off and use the sander like a vac to clear my table, now I just to touch my MaxSys button no having o trigger the tool on and off, it's great. I have mine in this velcro pouch from fastcap.

Dyson carpet heads should work nicely, they are air driven.

Lets hope it is NOT like the Makita ! No tone settings and far far too "Boomy" for a house etc .It sounds nasty . I hate them with a passion.It seems ALL site radios in 2016 have been designed by Stevie wonder and his class if 3 year olds.

I am building my own "festool " DAB from the small Dewalt DAB.Its a good size to start from. Sounds ok and gets the stations I want.Also i have a few 18v dewalt batteries handy .

@bump I'm sure you'll be able to find a CHP45 Protool if you go hunting. I'm surprised we haven't seen the 25 and 45 re-released in green!

oh my gosh, that's a bit of a beast. 45mm drill into concrete or 90mm core drill... i could almost fall down the hole i drill with that one!
is PROTOOL part of festool (or the other way round)?
I can't seem to find any in the uk so far, germany and australia seem to have them. maybe we aren't worthy or just can't be trusted with them.
cool find though, nice one.

A one-handed belt sander like the small Porter Cable would be extremely useful.

But of course festools would be more poweful, have variable speed and much better dust collection.

A one-handed compact router for carpenters!

Im sure the MFK is a great laminate and banding trimmer but its useless to me. The giant base, the knob, and the complete lack of visibility totally defeat the purpose. On the job I do lots of edge details, rabbeting, free-hand mortises, etc and 90% of it is with my bosch colt. Its great but lacks good dust collection, fine adjustment, and of course "system-ness"!
