More space between tail and dust hose on Domino 500
« on: December 10, 2014, 12:25 PM »
This may be partially a function of my larger than average hands, but in terms of ergonomics, it would be good to have slightly more space between the hose plug and the tail of the Domino.  Because the best grip for plunging is placing one's plunge hand all the way at the back of the Domino by the plug, when plunging my knuckles brush up against the hose adapter.  This could be remedied by angling the hose adapter a bit more to the right away from the Domino body.

This is not a major inconvenience by any means, but if you're shooting for perfection...

Ah ha! Typical of a righty to think all things are perfect if they fit righties.
Guess which side I throw from.  Which way I set up my workbenches.
Which hand gets favored with all of my tools any time possible.
Isn't that perfect for everybody  ::) [unsure] [cool]

On behalf of all right-handers, I apologize for my prejudice and insensitivity.

I usually push the hose connector all the way on and then angle it outward. The rubber of the connector has  enough flex to have it pushed further onto one side of the port  than the other. Still has plenty of grip to stay in place.

Apology accepted. [cool]
When i got married and we had kids, we were lucky.
I'm lefty, THE BOSS is lefty, daughter is lefty.
Son ruined the trend.   [wink]

whenever we go out to dinner, I always try to get a corner seat >>> so left arm is free in the breeze.  Wife tries the same trick.  that way, the two of us never get into arguments in public  ;D
