sanded down an antique pine table top,and 1st coated with festool surfix with the heavy duty oil/polish,it didnt darken the wood like i hoped it would,i have bought some teak wax to get the colour similar to what the legs are,in hindsight,i would of stained it 1st,then used the festool oil/polish,my question is,is it ok for me to put a wax on top of the 1st coat,i am going to give it another light sand 1st??

Wax is fine over almost anything, but you cannot put anything on top of wax, i.e. it has to be the last layer of finish. There is no need to sand before waxing unless the surface is rough.
