Fuji recommends;

20-30 seconds

10-30% thinning with water

1.5 or 1.8 air cap set (4H or 5H if you have an x-series gun)

All of the above is in the manual.

Adjust for your environment.

Thanks Tom, wasn't sure if I should use the time in the reference sheet because advance is kind of a hybrid. I am painting over raw wood any recommendations for a oil based primer.

With the Advance you should use the BM Extender. Polycrylic works also...

Inside or outside?

SW Multi Purpose, I don't use oils. The modern waters are superior in my opinion.

Sorry Tom. BM Extender is not compatible with advance. Trust me.

Are there any of the extenders that work with Advance?
The Dresser was made out of poplar Is a water based primer going to severely raise the grain.

Seeing as this is inside use Sherwin Williams Wall and Wood. Coat, sand, coat sand. Best sanding primer I have ever used. Normal conditions around here, 30 minutes from coat to sand.

Should have little affect on the grain. Test a drop off for your own piece of mind.
