Help..
« on: December 28, 2015, 08:21 PM »
When i log in many of the forums sub topics disapear. Does this happen to anyone else?

Namely the for sale forum goes away and has for me for many months.

Now the main Festool tools forum goes away. This is highly aggravating as i can not respond to posts i have made or questions people are asking me in repsonse to comments i have left when i can randomly log in then access the sub forums i am interested in.

Can a moderator help me with this.

I did send a message to a moderator a number of weeks ago about the for sale or classifieds forum problem i was experiencing and i got no response.

Thank you,
Patrick

Sorry that you didn't get a  response earlier.  With all the different browsers and devices out there would it be possible to give us some details on what you are using and then also take a screenshot of what you see?

@Iceclimber

not to try and be a smart alec  [wink], BUT have you by any chance clicked on the main forum subsection titles?

There are 5 main sections on what I see.

Festool Discussions
General Discussions
Forum Technical
Off Topic
FOG - Info center

On the first four if you click on the title it will either expand or collapse all the subsections under that topic. On the info center there is an up or down arrow head in a box at the far right that does the same thing. So if you have a section collapsed all you see is the section title.

The forum software "remembers" the way the display was configured when you either logged out or were logged out by the system. When you come back to the FOG as a guest all the sections will be visible because that is the default. But when you log in the way it was when you exited takes over the display.

I "lost"  a section or two this way myself  [eek]
