I know this is short notice, but you guys really need a night off. I am going to be migrating the forum over to our new server tonight if all things go as planned. During the migration, the forum will be in maintenance mode, meaning that it will be inaccessible. I would guesstimate that it's going to take a couple of hours for the transfer. The upside... I've already tested and the spell checker will be working again! Plus, the new server will be easily scalable if our recent explosive growth continues. I can already tell you that the gallery may be offline longer and may not get complete transitioned for another day or two. Sorry for the inconvenience. Shane

I am watching server performance today. If we continue to see slow performance, I will crank the server up a notch. I can easily add processor cores, memory, etc. to the server dynamically as needed now.

Thanks Shane I'm seeing 10 to 15 second between screens. Our connection is a 7meg fiber connection and other sites are running 1 or 2 seconds.

Yeah, I'm on 10MBps fiber at the office and 20MBps cable at home. I have been watching the server performance throughout the day. Once we started hitting out peak usage for the day, response time slowed. I added another core just now. Looks snappy again. It may take a couple of days for me to make sure we hit the sweet spot in performance, but it's scalable, so it's easy to do now.

Shane, thanks for working on this. Can't you do it the typical American way and just crank it all the way up? So what if Indiana dims and the electric meter spins like it's going to come off its gimble bearing.
