At the current time I do not believe that you can post an image from an iPad due to iPad operating system.

The tools in my truck were talking the other day. The Dewalts, PC's, Boschs, Makitas were not happy. They also were in the minority. Their complaint: They felt unused and unappreciated since the Festools moved in. I guess the truth hurts.

I went through this issue with Dave's baby's picture recently from the iphone. Had to go through a whole conversion process over to pc software, however, Dave told me it's easily done with the Apple software on the Macs. iPhoto I believe?

I dont know about the iPad, but on the mac, the photo files are kept in the iPhoto library. To post a picture, I just copy the file from iPhoto to the desktop, and do the normal thing from there. All you have to do if find the jpg file...

The only way to access the file system is to jailbreak the ipad or iphone. So to access the jpeg = jailbreak
If you dont want to do that then there are several apps to post pictures, twitpic (twiter), mobilephoto (xk$2) or you can email it to flicker.
Pick your choice.

Save them on photobucket and paste the link. The pics will show up and you can do it from any device.

when i was active in lumberjocks.com, the only way to post pictures was to upload them into flickr.com, and from there put them on lumberjocks.

Meatman, I use Tapatalk on my iPhone & iPad. It's not as elegant as the FOG page, but I'm here to read and that's what this app allows me to do. I can also post photos right from my camera roll right through the app!
I think it's only a few bucks...and it's useful for many other forums as well!
Just my $.02
Bob

Does anyone else think this new avatar of Meatman's looks exactly like Meatloaf? Maybe Meatman will sing something for us?
