Hi Matthew -

I don't see any change in message color once it is read.  Is there a setting within the forum configuration that would allow read message links to show up in an alternative color?  That would be a nice feature to easily keep up with the new volume of posts.

I know that Yahoo groups used the followed-links alternate color.

Thanks for the new forum.  A BIG improvement.

If you have not clicked on a thread since it was last updated, there is a "New" indicator on the thread in the topic main page (for example on the General Discussions page) for each updated thread.  If you click on a thread, the "New" indicator disappears.  Once you have read all of the threads you are interested in reading, click on "Mark Read" and all the "New" indicators disappear.  The next time you visit a topic page, the New indicators will show you threads that have at least one new posting since you last visited.  It works rather well.

ps - The New threads will be grouped together at the top of the thread list.
