Thanks for your patience during the transition. We're on the new server. I still have a few things to button up, like the gallery, but otherwise please resume posting!
Edit: Can at least one person post to let me know members are able to post OK? Thanks.
Shane

Sure, no problem.
Thanks! Looks like we're getting people back on here slowly as the DNS changes propagate out through the internet. I'm off to bed. Please notify me of any issues via email or PM.

The tools in my truck were talking the other day. The Dewalts, PC's, Boschs, Makitas were not happy. They also were in the minority. Their complaint: They felt unused and unappreciated since the Festools moved in. I guess the truth hurts.

Shane, I'm still having problems viewing images. Not all but some embedded and some avatars don't display.
I've tried refreshing and clearing browser cache.

EDIT: Guess this might be related to your other post: "I can already tell you that the gallery may be offline longer and may not get complete transitioned for another day or two."

Hi Shane,
Thanks for the spell checker.
The site is very very slow 30 to 40 seconds per page and over a minute to log in.
The rest of the internet OK and fast.

John, Being a new server, I wasn't sure where to start out the amount of processing power, etc. I have been watching the performance today and it's slowed down as the day progressed and we headed toward the peak usage of the day when we have 500+ visitors on the site at once. I just added more "power" to the site about 10 minutes ago and it's running better now from my end. See post: http://festoolownersgroup.com/forum-features-functions/important-notice-forum-maintenance-tonight/msg143009/?topicseen#msg143009I also turned on a feature of the forum that shows page load times at the bottom of the page. I'm getting about 2 seconds now on the front page, which is the slowest.

Welp, no more reports of slow downs. I think we're cooking now on this new server. Thanks for everyone's patience while I worked out the initial glitches.
