Some of you may have noticed that our other moderator, Forrest Anderson, has been absent from the forum for a while. Forrest had informed Peter and I last summer that he had taken some time offline for himself for personal reasons. He went to work on his house in the country where there was limited, if any, internet access. Peter and I both feel that the time has come to add another moderator in lieu of Forrest's absence.

After careful consideration and collaboration with Peter, we have selected Forrest's replacement. Were excited to have Seth, aka SRSemenza, take on that role. Seth has had prior experience in moderating a forum and has been a long standing, very active and contributing member. Please join us in congratulating Seth, we're confident that he will help us continue to grow and improve the forum.

The need for two moderators isn't necessarily because the forum requires a lot of moderation (because we have such a great group of people here Wink) but to ensure that we continue to have the members represented in the direction and decisions for the forum.

Peter and I wish Forrest the very best in his endeavors. He was certainly a valuable asset for the forum and his contributions have been appreciated by us all.

Of course, as moderator, you get an entire outfit of Festool's so that you can speak with authority on their use and quality.

 Great gig!

Yep, my Festool staff is unloading the truck right now.  The NAINA stuff will all be arriving in a couple days.    Cool And whenever I have a tool problem Festool flys a special team to my house within 12hrs !   Eek!

Got to get to work on the thrown..... I think a stack of Systainers, Installers Level for a scepter, and a Shinex buffing pad for a crown  Unsure

And everyone thinks the moderator position is volunteer work.  Roll Eyes

Seth, I'd advise you to use the buffing pad as a seat cushion on your throne.  Those systainers get uncomfortable after a while.  Wink

Best of luck to you!

P.S.  I guess you can't compete in contests anymore?

Well, you just need to create a separate account for yourself.  Just don't let any of the moderators find out.

Shane,

Seth has been an asset to this forum for a long time.  Well deserved and we all wish him good luck.

Forrest was also a wonderful poster.  Hopefully he will continue to participate as his schedule permits.  We wish him well.

As other mentioned, a big thanks to Forrest and a warm welcome to Seth.

I'm hoping this doesn't embarrass Mr. Semenza, so I will let you all in on post that is a testament to his character - he was the customer I was referring to in this post a while back.
