Interest or Possibility in a "Best of FOG" Project Gallery?
« on: February 05, 2015, 02:49 PM »
Let me start by saying I really love the FOG.  There is so much good camaraderie, and almost limitless knowledge by the members of this forum.

Moderators, if this is in the wrong place, feel free to move this thread.

I know that whenever I have Festool or Woodworking questions (or on the rare occasion, something that I can share), this is the place for me.

Something that I'd love to see more pronounced, is the projects built by FOGgers.  I do see them in threads that come and go, but I really wish there were a gallery that organized all of the awesome projects in one place.  The occasional project I see really blows me away.  There is some world class talent here, and I'd love to see more of it showcased.

Not sure if this is possible here on the FOG, but thought I'd throw it out there as I would love to see something like that.

As an example, here is a home theater forum that showcases member's "projects".  They even have a rating system so you can sort by the most popular posts.  Just a thought:

Example below-

Aspiring DIY'er (hence the name "grasshopper" as I am looking to learn from all the masters on the FOG)- TS 55, OF 1400, MFT/3, VS600 Dovetail Jig, MFS700+ MFS2000 extension profiles, Kapex, Kapex UG set, T12 Li set(x2), CT22, Domino, Carvex, RO90, RO150, MFK700, CMS-VL, Qwas super pack & Cool Wife.
