Please Make Thread Titles Descriptive
« on: May 14, 2014, 09:29 PM »
As an aid to everyone else reading and searching the FOG in the hours, days, and years to come, please make your title of threads descriptive to those who read them.  It only takes a second and it will help in narrowing search results as well as help direct readers and posters towards the threads that they are interested in.

Thanks,

Peter

Since the users add the title they think is appropriate. This should be obvious to posters, but from experience it apparently not that obvious.

I have also notice that some posters assume that everyone is aware of the details of their problem. Sometimes some background and specifics of their exact problem and tools being used.

I see the subject of an appropriate or descriptive title was not covered in the member guidelines. This is not surprising. I would expect that posters who have poor subject heading might not have read the guidelines.

This is a courtesy to other Fogers.
