And, I just got a reply.

Yes!

If the participants from Australia would like some swag, send me a PM or email with your full name, mailing address, shirt size and phone number. I'll forward it to my colleagues down under to hook you up.

Shane

Done, and thank you to you and Festool Australia for following this matter up.   [big grin]

If you don't like Signatures, just go to Look and Layout and tick No Signatures.

Wish it was, last time we queued for an hour and a half, mainly with the other ex colonials from NA and New Zealand. The line beside us for European and UK citizens (the one you are probably still eligible to use Kev  [big grin] ), was the express line. When I got to the front there was only one immigration official servicing my line. Next time we plan to enter UK from Europe by train.  [eek]

Meantime is there anyway the four of us down here could receive some of the swag being given to our NA colleagues who entered, either from Festool in  US or Australia?

Thanks for asking the question Stephen and Thanks Shane for acting on it and if anyone from Festool Aus is watching this thread thanks for once more coming to the party with this comp and for the going the extra and providing some swag.

I so kick myself for not getting a shot with Ron eating the 15 inch long hot dog - maybe at the next D&M show!

Just a quick update... For those who participated from the US/Canada, I think there was a delay in getting swag out but it's on the way. Hang tight, it should be showing up soon.

Yes- awesome swag showed up today.  My wife asked me what it was and I told her it was a shirt.  She said they must have sent the wrong size because the box was heavy  ;D

Thank you Festool and Shane

Maybe next time you guys will make a video.  [tongue] [big grin]

Can't say you didn't invite us but, some of us old timers don't do "video".  I however will continue to post my festool enabled projects since these tools have changed my furniture making experience!

Festool rocks in my opinion [wink]

Jack, I hope my post was taken in jest. I know not everyone is comfortable or technically able to do video. I do think it's a powerful media especially for conveying techniques with tools. We will do another contest in the coming months for the less tech-savvy members so stay tuned.

I equally appreciate the contributions of all of our members.
