Totally awesome. The expressions on some of the old folks were pretty good. I thought it was a little odd they didn't have the TS hooked to a CT though.

Who are these clowns? Sheesh, they're cutting indoors in a closed space and had NO CT hooked up to that saw. See all that sawdust flying around!? That is not smarter. ;-)
The slide, though, is pretty stinking cool.

Don't think I had seen this one, but VW did a series of videos and posted them on their website. Check it out - there are other cool videos there. http://www.thefuntheory.com/Some others, the piano is neat.

Reminds me of the slide used by workers in the Hallstaat Salt mine in Austria. See the link for picts ... the caption is below. I forget how quickly you can go on the slide, but it was a very fast ride. As I recall, the salt mines only provided for rapid decent into the mines; the miners had to walk back out. http://www.hallstatt.net/publisher/articleview/action/view/frmArticleID/22/?lang=en-iso-8859-15"Mega-slide Some 64 metres of sliding fun on Europe's longest wooden slide are a major attraction at the Salzwelten Hallstatt. We do not only take a photograph of our visitors during the ride, we also measure their speed by Radar. At the end of the guided tour, you may acquire your personal souvenir photo. And for those who don't want to ride down the shoot there's a comfortable staircase nearby. There are two slides at the Salzwelten Hallstatt just like the ones the miners used for moving from one level of galleries to the one beneath." Jim Ray
