Only one day left to participate!

Where are all the international members when we finally have an international contest?! Post and answer questions to win!!!!

If you already know everything  its hard to ask questions!  Tongue Out Tongue Out

JMB's iPad was acting up again. I think what he meant to say was:  If you think that you already know everything then it is hard to figure out how to ask questions.   Tongue Out  Tongue Out.

Or something like that. Poke

Well, it wasn't eactly the "how" that bothered me, it was the "which" part, because I didn't know any questions. But I think I chipped in a couple of answers so here and there.

It's nice to finally have even a remote chance of winning nice gadgets here on the other side of the pond too  Smile

Maybe if you run another internationally accepted contest one day you should put it somewhere in the banner that it's open for all?

I for one didn't really even look at it since I just categorized it automatically as "yet another US & Canada only competition" until I by mistake clicked on the banner and read the text Tongue Out

Congratulations to the following members who were randomly selected as the winners of our contest, each of whom will receive a CXS drill set:

Question winner
Joberwocky - Thread: What will I need to use my of 1400 with a guide rail?

Answer winner
Corwin - Thread: Re: Does 36 mm hose fit regular Shop Vac?

Thanks to everyone who participated in the contest. While it may or may not have been successful, the point of the contest was to remind members and visitors that the forum is here as a resource to help answer questions about the tools and their applications. We have a fantastic group of people here from all over the world who are eager to share their knowledge, experiences and opinions.

Sorry to the folks from across the pond, the forum participation has been much higher from those in the US/Canada historically and that was true again this past month giving those folks an edge just from a numbers standpoint.

Have an idea for the next contest? Drop me a note or post your idea in a new thread in the Games section.

Thanks,
Shane

The tools in my truck were talking the other day.  The Dewalts, PC's, Boschs, Makitas were not happy.  They also were in the minority.  Their complaint:  They felt unused and unappreciated since the Festools moved in.  I guess the truth hurts.

This will be my first T-Loc.  I feel like I should go buy some cigars to pass around.    Wink

Congrats, guys!!  That is awesome and I am sure you will each enjoy your new drill.

Shane and Festool -- thank you for sponsoring these types of things...I learned a lot from the Q&A and it is great that you guys can send out some prizes from time-to-time.

Compared to the 18v dewalt dinosaur I've still got, the CXS will be a marked improvements. Thanks!  Going to have to get a project planned to celebrate.
