Right under the Fun & Games board. It's listed in the green bar as a child board. Although adults can use it (Paul-Marcel's humor is rubbing off, sorry). [tongue]

You certtainly did hide it well.  [tongue]  Now that I have found it (with help), I should post almost anything there and have a good chance of winning due to the obscurity of the board.

Who even knew there were such things as child boards  ???

Before now the only use for the Child Board was this:   [dead horse] [dead horse] [dead horse]

Shane repurposed it for the contest.   [poke] [poke]

Thanks Shane, I forgot.

I'm going to the shop tomorrow to start on my non-eligible entry.

Anyone started on theirs?

Anyone going to participate?

Ten pics with captions should get you at least 50 words.   [thumbs up]

I posted this in another thread, but storage ideas for a small shop might be an idea for showing Festools in action.

I figured out a project that I probably can start and complete in time for the contest but am not going to start it for about a week.

Does a project have to be complete in order to enter that project into the contest?

Not that I can see in the rules.  Go for it Frank!

Projects are great! And even demonstrating the use of a tool or accessory while building a project will get you an entry in the contest.  I am just pointing out that an entry doesn't need to be a whole project.  Show us how to set up a tool, or how it gets used even on scrap pieces works for the contest as long as the minimum requirements for content are met. The focus here should be on the tools and accessories. Building something interesting with them is icing on the cake.

So we have our first entry!!

I have seen a couple projects posted recently, don't forget a few extra pics during the build showing and describing your use  of a Festool tool or accessory is all that it takes to enter by putting it in a sepearate thread in the contest entry  board.

Two weeks ... two entries. At that rate every entry wins, those are good odds!

Hey, if this one fails, then Mods might never have a chance to do a contest again.

Rock on Foggers!

Heck,

I have found myself flipping thru the Festool catalog looking for things since this contest started and I can't win.  I wish I could play.

Seeing as there are not that many entries, MAY I sign up with a different user name to enter ??? ??? ??? ???

With all the voices in my head, I'm sure there is an alias in there somewhere I can use ;D

well here is my entry for the contest... here I am showing how I used my Festools today to teach 13 people how to build a built in... and I let them also use my Festools and make cuts with the TS55,  the LR32 and several others of my tools so overall it was a great day sharing my Festools with others and my knowledge...
pay attention to the details.... they make the difference... festool does

Kreg,

Great event!  Unfortunately based on the rules you are not eligible and even if you would have been you posted in the wrong place.

Please don't tell me that I need to send back my autographed beadboard  [eek] [eek] [eek] [eek]

Tick Tock Tick Tock,

Six prizes in two contests and only 4 entries.  Odds are good.  I'm betting that while some are living Black Friday in the stores, some Foggers are holed up in their workshops finishing up their contest entries.

Right?

You have to stop reminding everyone. I'm hoping the 7th comes and goes. The current odds are the only chance I have of winning anything at all. [thumbs up]

Sorry Tom.  It's just that this contest participation and content might be real important in determining the future viability of future contests.

I know Peter, just some funnin' in the Fun and Games section.

I also hope there is a slew of entries by the 7th.

I'd be lying if I said I don't care if I win something, of course I want to win (first prize to be honest). I would prefer to have a greater number of competitors than what is there presently.

With the entries I hope also to take away some knowledge. Probably the most important part of the contest.

Tom
