What happened to that generation and the world and what sacrifice they made, can never fully be understood unless you lived through it. I didn't. I have heard the stories growing up... but because of them I have never faced what they had to face and do for several years.

9/11 was just one day..... WWII was years.

Yes nice vid!  Thanks for posting.  What a time that must have been.  I'm a couple of blocks from Diamond Head and it still looks the same yet different because of the people.  Hard to believe that is Kalakaua avenue as so much has changed.  Now we have Apple store(!).
