I guess that I will have to start using NRINA.  Not Residing In North America to simplify my posts.  Big Grin

Great find!

The tools in my truck were talking the other day.  The Dewalts, PC's, Boschs, Makitas were not happy.  They also were in the minority.  Their complaint:  They felt unused and unappreciated since the Festools moved in.  I guess the truth hurts.

Hey, I knew all that.  But, it was worth getting a refresher.

Having said that, the is an obvious ommission and that is the "Commonwealth of Nations", formerly called the British Commonwealth.  By leaving that out, one leaves out icountries such as India and Pakistan.

Very interesting.  The narrator must make a living doing disclaimers for commercials.

Having said that, the is an obvious ommission and that is the "Commonwealth of Nations", formerly called the British Commonwealth.  By leaving that out, one leaves out icountries such as India and Pakistan.
And the obvious mis-statement about Gandhi/India about violently getting independence.  Gandhi was the essence of non-violence. The right statement would have been that both the U.S  and India became republics (i.e the Queen no longer the ruler).

Vijay

p.s I too knew all that (except for the small island details) but was a good refresher.

Woodguy, you are so far north you qualify as a Viking!! Big Grin

I suppose we do get on better nowadays, except when the Six Nations are at stake of course.

Give it another couple of hundred years and we English might have forgiven you Bannockburn!! Wink

That was awesome!  Love the Venn diagram... cleared up so much.  Sad, too, I grew up in Canada (that's not the sad part...) and didn't know some of the finer details.
