The tools in my truck were talking the other day. The Dewalts, PC's, Boschs, Makitas were not happy. They also were in the minority. Their complaint: They felt unused and unappreciated since the Festools moved in. I guess the truth hurts.

Mac is eight weeks old today - has only been at his new home for 4 hours. AKC Golden Retriever. If we were to get one of the girls her name was going to be Mackenzie MINNIE - named after a wonderful lady who happens to work for Festool USA.
The dark colored object is actually a shirt I printed and wore to a Gary Katz Roadshow. My wife would kill me if I did FOG towels for the bathrooms!
Fogarty is a great suggestion! I was also considering a black lab whose name would have been Foggie.

He looks like an awesome addition Peter, congratulations. I like Fogarty, it suits. Alternatively, you could always go for 'Holland', or at a push 'Brice'? Enjoy him. Rick

Then I could get away with " Bad Shane! Shane - sit! Shane! Bad boy! Shane - Don't you listen!" Those sayings were all in jest. Over the last year I have gotten to know Shane better, and he is person whose friendship should be desired and cherished. I am extremely lucky.

What a cracking looking addition, Peter. A word of caution about the "Shane sit!" command say it over a few times and it gets a bit tongue twisty in a potty mouth kind of way! Rob.

Good lookin' pup, Peter! I'd suspect he'll need a Maxsystainer in a few weeks, which he'll outgrow by Christmas.

Peter, that's one cute little pup, should make a great addition to your family. The name is very appropriate as I'm sure he's going to be into everything. I also noticed what looks to be a nice little addition to your Festool sanding family. Is that a vacuum hand sander you slipped in one of the photos?

Just watch that the lid doesn't accidentally close on him and suffocate him. Not sure how air-tight systainers are.

Just watch that the lid doesn't accidentally close on him and suffocate him. Not sure how air-tight systainers are. Not very. I Tried washing one of my older systainers with handyandy to try and get rid of that faded look they get and decided to see how air tight it was. Kept it locked down and then sprayed it down... Lets just say it wouldn't be a good idea to drop your TS55 into the bath. Oh and when I say HandyAndy I mean this and not this. The latter gave me the creeps when he was on that show, I'm sure the Brits will know what I mean. I get the feeling we are going to be seeing a lot of spelling errors from Peter from now on.

Really cute pup, Peter. Maybe you could get him some Mini-Systainers and train him to bring you your lunch (and some treats for him). When he grows up, he could have learned to fetch your OF2200 or TS55.

MacGyver is acclimating well. Doesn't care for his daytime condo (crate). He prefers to run around naked (sans collar) and has done well in his potty training. He is down to about one mistake a day in the house. He is now sleeping eight hours at night in the human bed. I think that when it comes to sucking up food, he might be more efficient than a CT-22.
He has convinced me to start a blog for him to document his life and how he is training us. He has named it "Taking Paws".
Guess I have more things to do.
Peter
