That's what my buddy said to me as I was up on a ladder and he told me to look out the window at the adjacent house...not an optical illusion!  Just an old house in downtown Charleston.  I would hate to have to install cabinets in it!

what about the sink or bathtub?

I knew a kid in school that had a small addition on the back of their house.  It had the kitchen on the first floor and a another bathroom and closet on the second floor.  The addition had sunk so much that water wouldn't drain from the sinks/tub.

The funny/crazy thing is, it looks like they installed those window bars level... so they are very noticeably crooked.

That was my first thought until I saw how well the window lined up with the brick wall below.

Isn't anyone curious as to what's going on inside the owners heads?  Sinking house, bars on windows and a blatant peeping tom across the street.  Big Grin

Maybe this was one of those episodes of Renovation Realities - homeowners + jackhammer + recip saw =  Scared

I don't get the "Democratic house" joke.  I'm pretty out of touch, so please explain so I can laugh, too.

Democrat is considered left leaning and Republican right leaning when considering the party's ideals, well, really perceived ideals.

And I guess we better not talk about it more than that.  Smiley
