i havnt dealt with them but have heard they arnt great. festool closed their irish hq and shuved us into the uk system. so festool uk is where i will need to go if something goes wrong.
dean scocial on here should be able to give his opinion as he has sent some of his tools back a few times.

the main problem i have with the fog is that all the festool usa people are watching Scared and shane holland works for them , there are us dealers with a big presence on here. the problem is we are jealous, we wish we had shane over here answering any questions and sorting out issues that come up and putting people in thouch with the right people. ye us guys dont know how lucky ye are.

I got my registration confirmation almost exactly a week after the purchase. The vouchers came later (I think a couple of weeks). Beware I talking about Festool Belgium, but I suppose Festool UK has the same procedures and according timelines.

I also have problem with the vouchers. I registered more than a month ago a TS 55 and a CT 26 on Festool.nl. I did not received any vouchers. After 3 or 4 weeks, I contacted festool NL and get an answer within two days telling me that the vouchers have been sent from Germany two weeks before. I informed them that I did not received anything and that I also just registered a RTS 400. They told me that they will reissue the vouchers for the TS and the CT. One week after, I received the 30€ voucher for the RTS but nothing for the CT and the TS. So I need to recontact them. Quite annoying.....
However, I am not so surprised as the voucher came folded, without any envelop, with a clear statement on it saying that it is a voucher to get free festool accessories..... Quite tempting.......

The vouchers can only be used at the dealers you bought the tools from so even if some one stole them like your suggesting they would have to go to the dealer and it should bring up suspicions that let's says he has only sold 1 RTS400 but 8 people called up with 8  30vouchers

I used my vouchers with a different dealer. My main dealer is really focussed to professionals and his opening hours aren't really great for a hobbiest like me. I try to buy most of my festools from him because he has good service, but if I need something rather quick on a saturday or right after work, I go to a different dealer. I've mentioned this to my main dealer and he understands.
Last week I bought a MFK700, LR32 set and OF 1400(just before the action ended) and used the vouchers from the CXS and CARVEX, witch I bought from the other dealer. The vouchers were accepted without any question.

Yesterday I recieved my voucher for the OF1400. Well, not exactly, I recieved the letter with the voucher ton off. I decided I would call Festool Belgium today and see what they would say. I never call people before 9am, so I was planning to call them from work. A few minutes before 9, I got a call from my girlfriend. She found the voucher (what was left of it) wrapped in plastic, accompanied by a letter with excuses from the post office. Apperantly, the letter got cought in their sorting machine and they found the missing part this morning...

EDIT

Went home this afternoon and had a look at the pieces, because just a few pieces it was...

Phoned Festool Belgium and they told me not to worry. They would ask Festool Germany to send me a new voucher. They told me that they had no more vouchers gone missing than they lost regular correspondence.

It was the first time I had to contact Festool Belgium for something and it was a pleasant experience. No automated menu's to wade trough and a quick reply to my question.

greetz,

Philippe

The vouchers were mentioned in a post dating back to 2011.  Perhaps now that it is 2012 there aren't any. Scratching Chin

Had a quick look at your site. Not quite sure of your definition of special offer - you've got the CTL Mini at the list price but without the free cleaning kit that some festool suppliers are currently selling it with  Unsure
