...those of us that are west of the Mississippi??!!?!?  Just kidding of course but when I filled out my entry for the newest sweepstakes I noticed that the vast majority of winners are east of the Mississippi.  Are most of the entries received from east coast customers or is this just a fluke?

Man, harsh!  Tongue Out

The website uses an automated script to randomly select the winners. So, it's completely random and the fact that there are more winners from the east is just coincidence.

I can't accurately say where the majority of the entries are coming from because providing an address is an optional step which earns you an extra entry. Not everyone does that step. But from what I'm seeing, the west coast is well represented in the entries, as is Canada.

It's just by chance that we have more winners from the east.

Would you mind posting the code of your random number generator? I'd like to ensure that it's being  seeded correctly...  Poke

There's the problem.....

You're NOT using Camel Case on your variable names (PeopleWhoEntered, etc).

Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

I looked into bribing Shane, I mean donating.  I found it to be just like Ebay, it's far cheaper to buy the tools retail. Blink Big Grin

Sancho beat me to that line.

It should be no secret to anyone who visits here that Festool USA is different in some ways than other Festool entities in other parts of the world and that we here in NA and this forum benefit.  ROCK ON FESTOOL USA GUYS!

If you want something different from Festool in other places in the world - send them an email and make suggestions or ask.

You never know what will happen unless you try!

The tools in my truck were talking the other day.  The Dewalts, PC's, Boschs, Makitas were not happy.  They also were in the minority.  Their complaint:  They felt unused and unappreciated since the Festools moved in.  I guess the truth hurts.

Ok, west coasters and Canadians. Today's the last day to enter for this month's giveaway so do it now!

Also, to increase everyone's chances, we'll be giving away 4 SysLites next month, about one per week. So, go back and enter often for more chances to win.

As always, good luck to all.

Make checks payable to Shane Holland if you'd like to make a sizable donation.
