I've been up since 2am, not that unusual for me but today is different. I ordered the Kapex yesterday and it is due here today! I feel like a child on xmas eve, just hope I get my current run of work done in time to pay the credit card next month, it's glowing GREEN again. Rob.

Good one Tom, but what would be the correct blade for use with credit card plastic? The Aluminum/Plastic Blade, of course. Tom

Rob,
The cool thing about the Kapex is that I knew so much about about it that by the time I got mine all I had to do was unbox it and I was ready to go. Later on I did the alignment checks and it was spot on.
A week later, I ran into the scraping problem but Festool remedied that in a matter of days. I think that issue is a thing of the past.
Good luck with yours. As my Mother would say, use it in good health.
Neill

It arrived! about two minutes after a wagon load of timber that I had to unload and put away. Anyway I set it all up on the UG trolley ran through how all the bits work connected the CTL mini and make my first cut...sawdust all over the flippin place. Turns out I had done too much work today and filled the vac up so it stopped sucking, so a quick change over and we were running sweetly. Tomorrow I will have a tidy up and try out the extension fences and maybe grab a few pics of my interim shop set up. Rob.
