Hello all,

Had one of the best days of my life today. My mother, brother and I went to a smallish Zoo in Midrand. What a great little place it was. Tigers, Lions, Jaguars, monkeys, parrots, eagles ( Bald Eagle as well ), and many other animals. I'm really not one for the zoo because the large ones I have been to where really a chore, having to walk for 20 minutes between each display isnt fun for me.

This Little zoo was great though and perfect for families with kids.

Well the highlight of the day was getting in the cage with a Bengal Tiger cub. What and wonderful little creature it is. Me and my mother got in and we got 10 minutes to play with her ( the tiger ) and take some pics. So I thought I would just share the two pics I have so far with my Festool family. Thanks for taking a look.

The guy in the back with the pink scarf is my baby brother. Note: the scarf is my mothers Tongue

Haha, great pics. In the second one it's either licking your mother affectionately, or getting ready for a meal...  Eek!

Cheers,
Rick

Lol Rick, I think it was doing both. Its like a shark it explores with its teeth and has a surprisingly strong bite for its small frame.

Aw man, that must have been so cool.  Must be up there with swimming with dolphins (no, i haven't done that either).

One thing i would love to do is go under water in a cage with sharks or crocodiles around  Grin

Good of you to share Wayne.

Glad to share woodguy. I have actually been diving with dolphins but it didnt happen like in the movies. We went out on a rubber speed boat holding on for dear life so we didn't fall off. Then we stopped ( PAST THE SHARK NETS ) and he told use to jump in the water. So being young and stupid i did but no one else in my family did. The dolphins where about 100 meters away and swimming away from use. So what does the captain say Huh? Go...swim after them.....WHAT THE heck!!?? then the panic set in when I realized i was in the middle of the ocean, past the shark net, in great white shark waters.....NOT a good feeling.

Even freakier was looking down into the water and seeing pitch black nothingness. So yeah dolphin diving was great Tongue
