So, I just got back to the office today after a short trip to Virginia to visit family. Sitting on my desk was an unmarked envelope. When I opened it, there was a nice note from Brice expressing his appreciation for the forum. Apparently, he also contacted quite a few members and dealers who also wrote a lot of very nice things. What a great surprise and nice gesture on everyone's part!

I've said it many times over, but I love my job and I'm fortunate enough to work for a phenomenal company. I really enjoy my time on the forum and interacting with all of you guys. Fortunately, I also work with some of the best people I've ever worked with. They deserve a lot of the credit for providing our customers with superlative service. Brian and Steve are two great trainers and we're fortunate to have them as a part of our team. For those of you who have attended an end user training class, I'm sure you would agree. Lester and his guys in the repair department are amazing. They dish out heaping helpings of customer service every day and treat every customer with personal attention and courtesy. Our guys who assist customers who call in with questions about the tools and their applications are all top notch. It makes it easy when I work with these folks who share my passion for Festool and our customers. Be sure to take a moment to send an email or letter to let those folks know they've served you well should you ever have the opportunity to talk with one of them.

Thanks for all of the kind words and taking the time to put this together. It definitely means a lot and reinforces the feeling of friendship and camaraderie with our members. It's my pleasure to serve you all and help make each of you feel like a part of the Festool family here on the FOG.

Yes, I agree.  No question it's a team effort, it just so happens you're the front man in terms of public relations on the internet.  So, you're getting the a pat on the back for a job well done.  Of course, this is the internet when things can change quickly and we may want your head on a platter tomorrow. So enjoy the love while it lasts. Tongue Out Big Grin

Shane,

You deserved every one and more.   Thanks

The tools in my truck were talking the other day.  The Dewalts, PC's, Boschs, Makitas were not happy.  They also were in the minority.  Their complaint:  They felt unused and unappreciated since the Festools moved in.  I guess the truth hurts.
