It was recommended to me some years ago by David from Festool that for cutting full sheets lengthwise straight or at a diagonal, go with the FS3000 and for crosscutting sheets straight or on a diagonal, the FS1900.  That allows both TS saws room to start and end the cuts off the material for cleaner cuts without having to plunge the saw.

I want to get the long rail for cutting sheet goods without having to join two together.

so many things to buy but not sure which order. lol



Here's your chance to save a few bucks, Maikita 118" guide rail on sale.  The Makita rail will work fine with your Festool saw.
