Indepence day I believe.

The tools in my truck were talking the other day.  The Dewalts, PC's, Boschs, Makitas were not happy.  They also were in the minority.  Their complaint:  They felt unused and unappreciated since the Festools moved in.  I guess the truth hurts.

Canada day is when we celebrate Canada's Birthday. Today is our 144th year as a country.

What a great day!  Big Grin I love Canada Day.

It started with a bit of micro-lite flying over the Eastern Townships in Quebec, followed by an afternoon on Mount Royal in Montreal with the family, and finishing with some sweet medallions of beef on the barbecue and some Coronas.

Then to cap it off, a couple of hours in the workshop chiseling some dovetails. Unfortunately, having dovetailed 36 tails on half a chest, I just realized that one board has pins on one end and tails on the other!  Roll Eyes It still works but it's a little unconventional!

Happy Canada Day to all my fellow FOGgers up North.

Thanks Dan, and the same to you and your family.

I spent most of the day tearing down a DECREPIT fence at my daughter Kathleen's place.  She and her family are on vacation for a week and I am replacing the fence as a surpise to them.
