For many of us here the time until the holidays is short.  Obligations and family will shorten the time that some will be able visit here.  But before that happens, hopefully this will become a place to express your feelings.

I'll start off.

To Christian, Shane, Martin, Michael, Minnie. Rick, Brian, and anybody, and everybody else at Festool USA, thank you for allowing me to invade your sanctum.  You are unbelievable - in a great  sense.  May the coming year be better than the past, and may you and your families have the ability to enjoy the holidays to a greater degree than ever before.

To Forrest,  you are a god send.  My friend, may the holidays enrich your life and soul.

To Brice, Frank, and all the others who have given so much of their time over the years to make this place extra special - all I can say is thanks.

To Bob, Tom, Dan, and the other dealers who particpate here, you always walk the fine line but constantly provide knowledge and help.  I can't imagine this place without you.. Thank you and I hope that the coming year is more prosperous personally and professionally for you and your families.

To Matthew, you hatched an egg that became something special - thank you for your efforts and foresight.

To the rest of you, of us, thank you for making this a very special place to visit.  You all deserve the best and my hopes are that your desires will come true.  Without you this place is silent.

The holidays are about giving, and this place is the perfect example of giving.  To all, may the joy of giving fulfill you thru the coming year.

Happy Holidays!

The tools in my truck were talking the other day.  The Dewalts, PC's, Boschs, Makitas were not happy.  They also were in the minority.  Their complaint:  They felt unused and unappreciated since the Festools moved in.  I guess the truth hurts.

Peter,
A truly nice thread to start. You are so right. We owe thanks to a whole bunch of people...in fact all the people here, including every newbie, passerby, et al.
2009 has been a year to remember, whether we liked it or not. I am very aware of how lucky I am to be able to enjoy each and every day. And to all the business people here who have been having such a hard time keeping afloat, my thoughts to you and your families.
And to all a Happy 2010

Merry Christmas, everyone!  I hope Santa brings all of you something good.  It's been my pleasure to have been a part of this forum over the past 4+ years.  I wish each of you a prosperous and bountiful 2010.

I sure wish I could write something as nice as Peter did. Thank you ALL who post here. Everyones ideas keep this place improving. The idea sharing is invaluable. For people like me who post infrequently, for those who primarily lurk, this forum is a blessing. A huge thank you to Matthew for getting this all started and to all the Festool folks who are now a major part of this community.
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!
