Any FOGgers interested in going? I will definitely be aiming to spend a few hours and probably dollars there over the course of the two days! If so, PM your contact details and we can try to meet up.

As an added incentive -  Eek!- any orders placed at the event qualify for free shipping and no brokerage charge.

43 seconds into the video check out the bottom right-hand corner of the screen. They moved it to one side for the hand tool event but it got a sneaky look-in!

I spent an hour or so there on Saturday and it was a really enjoyable time. There were a couple of Lie Nielsen employees including Deneb Puchalski who you may recognise from all the Lie Nielsen videos on youtube. There were probably ten or fifteen other people there milling around.

Pretty much the whole range of products is available for you to demo and ask questions about. You can place an order for whatever you want and they will ship it to you for free with no customs charges. They also threw in a DVD of your choice. They do sharpening demos, hand plane demos etc. It's impossible not to walk out of there with a lighter wallet!

Konrad Sauer from Sauer and Steiner was also there with a selection of his handplanes. WOW! I tried a couple and they were amazing. If I had one, I would probably just look at it all day and not get any work done!
