Good observation GPowers!  You have no idea (or maybe you do) how much I have been really looking forward to this light!  I have been yelling at Kreg's & Dave's YouTube videos everyday for the past 30 days cuz they already have one and I have had the need for that little gem every single one of those 30 days!  I think it will be my 3rd most used tool after my CXS & C15!  ^PUMPED^

Off to see the world thru LED's!!!

Here's some Friday fun!

I sent this picture to my wife!  She found no humor in the fact that I associated love and tools in the same photo!  Her sense of humor is about as big as a 2 year olds strike zone!  Oh well, if you can't have fun or music or both, it's all just pointless!

Tom,

The shipper tracking says that I'll get mine on Tuesday.  I have two nightstands under construction in my shop right now that I'll have to accelerate and complete to give me room to play with my new toy Big Grin

Used my SysLite this afternoon to shed additional light on a cabinet that I was spraying black.  Awesome!

The tools in my truck were talking the other day.  The Dewalts, PC's, Boschs, Makitas were not happy.  They also were in the minority.  Their complaint:  They felt unused and unappreciated since the Festools moved in.  I guess the truth hurts.

Who has buyers remorse from buying a $175.00 flashlight? Just wondering? Festool seems to have made more enemies then friends with the Syslite campaign. At least on the other forums i hang out at. The XL looks amazing though, Eric

Ron, interesting you say two, bc from the get go i have maintained that for $175 you should get two lights and a nice tripod. Then I could leave one in the box van and have one for around the home, or when doing a bunch of drywall have two on a tripod facing an entire wall. And for all you people demonstrating the lights capability in the attic, please. I go into a clients attic once every five years and my HVAC guy cant afford a $175 light. He uses a $20 one he got at Dicks. Just my two cents, Eric

Scott,

I have in the past used Sedge as part of humorous posts here, but I really wanted to go different and spotlight him.  That is why I made this after looking at dozens of images of him.  This is a classic pose for him and one that is very fond to me.

Brian is one of the most extraordinarily awesome humans.  That is why I did it.  He rocks!

I haven't thrown my hat in the Syslite review ring yet, but the one thing I don't like about it is that I am neurotic about it. This is one of those things that it seems best to have a spare tucked away somewhere behind a sign saying: "break glass in case of emergency only".
