Hey Per,
Great to see you! We were wondering what had become of you!
Hope I remembered to thank you for your thread on the Rotex and menzerna polishes for the bar finish! I made a dining table with the same technique and its holding up great. An occasional spritz with water and a quick wipe off with a microfiber cloth to get off the gravy and its good as new!
Any new Festools in the Swenson suite?

Gee, I wish I could say "Look what we are Building now!"
Unfortunately, I am temporarily doing the mundane.
House work. Out of the box kitchens and Baths, crown, door hanging.
Middle end beige.
One good thing 'bout the bursting housing bubble.
The yuppies still think ,if they just put a little more in to the shack, then it
will surely sell.
So in order to..you know eat, I have been filling that need.

Glad to have you posting again!
And I know what you mean about the "mundane" stuff. I've been refinishing stairs and window sills and floors. I'm using my Festool tools to do it, but it's not fine woodworking! I've put in a new butcher-block kitchen counter top, and built a new bathroom vanity, which sort of approaches more of what I might call woodworking projects. I'm slated to build a whole new set of kitchen cabinets, which gets even closer.

Those out of the box kitchens can pay pretty well Per... I just started a new one yesterday where the boxes and my labor is over $40K. We finished one last month that was $65k for a kitchen, butlers pantry, and beverage bar. We usually load them up with slide out's, Dish Organizers, Mixer Pop Ups, full blumotion, etc.! I love it and the end result is pretty nice too.
