Congrats!  Fatherhood is a wild ride Cheesy and very rewarding.  It's definitely true that "they grow up too quick".  Take LOTS of photos and video.

Congratulations!!

And you won't believe how much free time you used to have.  It's a whole different world now.

And worth every minute of it.

Mine is 4 months old and I'm waiting for my Domino to start building her crib.  It seems like both a long time and yesterday.

I have definitely found my project time has been compromised since she arrived.  In fact, that's how I'm justifying my Domino.  It's going to make that crib so much faster than doing it the traditional way.

Thanks guys, he slept from 11.00 until 5 this morning so he's a good little chap !
I'm starting to think about all the toys and things to make because I want him to grow up with some traditional values and build things rather than be staring at a screen all the time!
The domino is going to get some use on a changing table and some baby room furniture......

Cynric,

Congratulations! My wife and I just adopted a newborn baby boy 4 weeks ago. He still doesn't go more than 3 hours without a meal. I got the 4 am feeding this morning. Curiously enough, I used the exact same excuse as you in my Teardrop trailer forum (a bunch of nuts who build teardrop trailers from the ground up); "Why I haven't done anything on my trailer recently,...". The darn little ankle-biters sure keep you busy, but they are the ultimate excuse.

Cynric,

Congratulations to you and your wife.  Owain looks as though he's ready to help on those projects already!  Good health and happiness to you and your family.
