Just got home from jlc live. It was a fun event. It was especially nice to meet Peter, Ken, Dave, Seth, Sean A., and others from the Fog. I really enjoyed the conversations with everyone. Hope you all had lots of fun.

All I can say is we're meeting at the FastCap booth next year!!!  Def not the Stable!

Bob
Yeh i think i have to second that, fastcap girls were much more pleasing than the ones at the stable :-) overall nice event but no where near as fun as the summerset show from a month ago. Pleasure meeting all you guys!

Hey Scott!  It was great to meet all the guys at the Festool Connect event and the JLC Live show.  Thanks for all of that information you were able to share with me yesterday and hopefully we can get that knowledge on some DVD's available to everyone.

I'll be posting pictures of you and everyone else today.

You did a great job with the demos!

Thanks Ken, I really enjoyed our chat as well, it was perfect timing as the booth wasn't overrun with dozens of enthusiasts so we could actually talk. I am looking forward to seeing the pictures from the event. It was fun to do the demos and put guys on the mft's and demo walls that were set up. Already looking forward to next year!

I had a blast seeing all the guys who came and hanging with Seth.  About eight more hours until home!  Yeah!

The tools in my truck were talking the other day.  The Dewalts, PC's, Boschs, Makitas were not happy.  They also were in the minority.  Their complaint:  They felt unused and unappreciated since the Festools moved in.  I guess the truth hurts.

Great time I had. Seeing friends and meeting hundreds of new friends and to meet another moderator Seth who I was able to get to look the other way now on some of my crazy post.....

But that still leaves the "MAN". Shane !!!

Thank you to all those guys who took the time to stop me and say hey thanks for the videos that you have made they are awesome and I have bought more festools because of them

You are all so kind....

Hey Shane!  You were missed!  Hope you're feeling better!

Thanks, Bob. I was really bummed that I didn't make the trip. I had been looking forward to the show and the Connect event for months. Maybe I'll see you guys next year. I've been feeling a lot better this week. Thanks.

Scott,

The link is working for me, but I have to ask Shane how to allow everyone to view the pics without having to sign into Google.  Picasa kept crashing on me because it was trying to do an update and I don't know if that affected it.  Also, only one of your pictures turned out - sorry.  At least it's a good one!

The picture of Sedge pointing at the camera is the best of the whole batch...dude is a rock star! Cracked me right up. He actually made a sledge hammer out of wood at his booth table, and we finish sanded it and dubbed it the "Sedge Hammer". I am hoping we got a picture of that somewhere.

That's only because we all live hundreds of miles away from each other and aren't competition!  Lmao... Just messin....it was a blast getting to meet people and see familiar faces (and pants) again!

Totally agree! I attended a recent paint conference in Las Vegas and met people I only knew online! The Festool booth there was great!

Scott, I saw that, but I didn't specifically take a picture of it.  Shane can always take a picture of it at work.  I'm sure it's on someone's desk now.  Scratching Chin Poke
