Not sure what you mean by gate? I can answer many questions but what I really need is work that pays! I will not take payments for festool secrets.

It was a tongue in cheek remark about all the issues being reported with the Kapex. Not a genuine suggestion that you'd giveaway or indeed even be privy to the senior level discussions on the topic.

Good luck in your efforts to find gainful employ. Maybe your general location and areas of expertise within Festool would assist in your endeavour.

I assume you're a former employ of Festool, looking for work.

The way you worded the thread title is very confusing.

With the japes you have a three year warranty if it doesn't run how it should! If you can do with out for a week or so. Yes, now unemployed. Much festool  knowledge to share.

Sharing your location and your former job title would probably help your employment quest. And as someone who has spent lots of time sifting through resumes I would suggest communicating with a bit more clarity, it will only help your efforts.

Smells a little fishy to me. Only 7 posts, broken English. Not buying it for a second.

Hey Brett.

My guess is that this isn't the best venue for looking for employment whereas it is ultimately controlled by FESTOOL.

Perhaps @TylerC can give you some guidance.

Ladies and Gentlemen,

I am not a FESTOOL employee and have no knowledge of the situation and honestly am sure that no one would tell me anything even if I did ask.

As a Member and also as a Moderator I would ask that civility would be shown in this thread.  You would expect the same.

Thank you.

I did not specify my location because I am willing to relocate. I am still a fan of the festool product not some of the employees but the product for sure. I worked next to @TylerC for over a year and I know that is not his department! Thanks for trying though peter. The Pro5  up is on whoever predicts sales in the US. A five year old could have predicted the pro 5 sale better then what it was!!!! No one learned from the kapex sales and that was only 10% off!!!

Ya, but if you're a former Festool employee...it goes without saying that you're not a new Festool user...kapisch?

As a Festool employee, I can't comment one way or the other on this. I'd ask that everybody just be kind and assume the best from people.

Brett, I think you need to be a little more specific if you actually want help from people.  So far in all of these threads, we know you worked at festool, would relocate, and was in sales.  Tell us what you want to do, what skills you have, etc, then maybe someone could point you in a direction.  Otherwise in my opinion it sounds more like you are bitter you were let go.  I have been out of work for awhile, and it is frustrating, so obviously I have nothing to offer you, but if I was looking for someone that had an opportunity it would be hard to take you seriously without more info.

Best of luck
Bryan

Good luck with your next position in life brett07. Not sure if you were or weren't a former employee. The way you came into this forum 9 posts and 4 hours ago was very strange to say the least. We have had all sorts of spam on this forum over the years so best to be a little suspicious. Again, best to you.

Cheers. Bryan.

Brett07:
I'm truly sorry for your separation from Festool, and I feel that it's certainly none of my business to know the details. But with all due respect, it's uncertain as to whether the question: "Who can benefit from an ex festool employee?" can elicit an informed response based on the lack of info and current back and forth that is taking place, and is sure to continue given small amounts of info in the reponses.

For me, I can benefit from anyone (Festool employee or not) who is willing to guide, teach, mentor, create or help others improve their craft. I welcome that, again, from anyone.

I would like to pose a question to the moderators: Does the FOG have a Mission Statement, and if so, what is it? Does a post such as this support that Mission Statement?

Brett07 - please stay engaged as an active, productive, objective and informative member of the FOG to help others improve their skills and enjoyment of woodworking.

To answer your question Brett, I would think any Festool retailer for one.

Another potentially would be a competitor brand.  Mafell comes to mind.

Any company that sells fringe 3rd party Festool accessories ie;  Betterly, Seneca, etc...  Not sure if there would be anything there, but with your insight and contacts, there may be a fit there.

Were you just in sales, or were you involved in the marketing side that could be an asset to someone else?

Oh!  Here's one that comes to mind....Mirka.  There's another company like Festool in many respects that needs to be sold due to its pricing challenges.  Like Festool, Mirka can save you time and money with their products.  People just need to be explained how and why.
Kapex, CT36AC, TS75, MFT 1080, MF-SYS/2, PS300 EQ-Plus, Parallel Guides Set, LR32 SYS, RO 150FEQ-Plus, OF1400 EQ Plus, DOMINO 500 Q-Plus,  MFK 700 EQ-Set, FS-SYS/2, CT22 w/hose storage, D36HW-RS-Plus, FS 1900/2, FS 3000/2, FS 1080/2-LR32, FS 1400/2-LR32, Gecko, Festool Hat, Festool T-Shirt (2), Festool Floor Mat, Festool Stein, Multi-Tool, tape measure, large and small Festool floor mats (foam rubber).
