20 and a bit years ago, left army trying to learn how to be a fitter while managing a bowling alley so worked cheap and plowed it all back into tools and knowledge. one of the other fitters had a cdd9.6 which I was fascinated with and even more the box it came with.
1st purchase from andy mason at baron bros in leeds
cdd12 with 2 batts and mcu15
ps2e
ehl65
sys1 with universal insert thing and flip up lid
sys1 with boxes
sys2 vari for existing drills
sys3 for tool bits
hand tools lived in a posso box.
nearly cried writing the chq and they all said I was mad. and I was, I added to it like crazy, cheaper tools mainly but good kit like the massive ryobi router or atlas copco sds and slapped in a systainer right down to waxes, iron/tapes and a brew kit box. the only regret was that the worktop jig wouldn't fit.
but living in a first floor flat the ablity to stack it all neatly in the living room was a blessing

I seeing as I still have everything bar a few batteries and a blown charger or two I cant complain about getting value out of it. just wish the locking latches were cheaper.
tightarse UK trades still gawk when the grey boxes start coming in an endless stream.
