Bob (
@marino or
@Marino83 not sure which handle is his ) Marino delivered another Christmas present to me Saturday morning.
75" guide rail and 7 Sys A-z Drawers.
A couple weeks ago I had picked up some gorgeous 3/4" baltic birch plywood, 2 sheets of 5' x 5', in preparation for making a Sys port.
I am getting tired of stacking and unstacking all my systainers when I need them. It's a small thing but it does get old.
Here's the plan:
Sys 1
Sys 1
Sys 2
Sys 2
Sys 2
Sys 4
(extra Sys 2 space)
Going to paint the inside white and outside grey to match my garage walls.
Butt joints with dominos for joinery.
I got some nice 5" casters from Amazon should work well.
Yesterday I got the sides, bottom and top cut out.
This morning I got up and drilled all the holes - I don't have an LR32 system so I just measured carefully. Hopefully it works out.
I made the cabinet 18.25" deep when the Systainers only need 14-15" I think.
I'm going to see if I can do some low profile clamp storage on the back, inset, since I have about 60" height. We will see!!
Matt
