Ha! Nice stuff! So... green is for adjustable things and you have it on the drawers, but I see a side panel that's green  does it slide out to reveal a hidden compartment?!? |

Paul, I should have put more time into the color selection, but then my wife would have divorced me. The double panel on the side is stationary. The panel above the double drawer sits on a cleat and has three rare earth magnets holding it tight. When removed you can access the router and every once in ahile suck out the saw dust. The router has its own D50 port and the Wonderfence has its own D50, both running into a Y piece, then through a DD on a Sys5 and into the CT22. On all but the most aggressive passes it has 100% DC.
To update, the garage is way nicer with these bright new colors. Its got a good vibe going! Eric

Seth, the top drawer in the front pulls out and has a sys1 router bit box and a Sommerfeld Cabinet set box. Im thinking of tacking some strips, so they cant move around. The second drawer is for another sys1 and more sets to come. The top larger drawer has all my router jigs, the second one has table saw and miter saw jigs, and the bottom one has sandpaper, glad you liked it, Eric

I just don't understand why you need so much top behind the fence. I understand you can now do dados, etc in the middle of a larger board. But I feel running the router on the Festool rail would be way easier to control.
Now you have a new problem with those stickers. They are going to catch your on your material.

For all you haters out there, I did some tests and mdf, shop ply, poplar, maple all pass by the sticker with no hang ups. my miter gauge also. When measured on my Starrett 6 inch combo, it is the smallest amount proud that I have ever seen. Its probably 1/256" and I dont know anybody who builds to those specs. Dave, the table is huge and I posted a very funny joke about its size earlier in the thread that you should check out. I wouldnt buy it again, but I will make do with what I have. Tons of storage in five drawers. Im glad you like it and I love you and your constructive criticism. I will be sure to remember that next review you do  Peter, thats Triton 3 1/4 HP and I wish I had above table control, but its what I got. Powers through most stuff. I did the 5/16 x 3/4 rabbets in the applied molding for this project in one pass. |

How can they have a router table so Festool flavoured doing the rounds of the internet with only the colour scheme and the logos to call theirs??  |

The best excuse for such a large table, and specifically one with "so much top behind the fence," as you say, is when making box or dovetail joints on taller drawers -- one of the Incra fence's specialties. What I don't get is putting the Festool name on a tool that has no Festool components. Someone has it bad!  |

Dave, that was clearly a friend helping a friend scenario.
Corwin, besides the router table the shop consists of a Kreg clamping table, 3 MFTs, 2 CT 22s and 22 systainers, so its kind of all Festool all the time over here. I have got to find time to learn that dovetail system, Eric

I have the ame Triton router and I HATE it...want it? (poke) the under table controls are not fun and it's so heavy duty that it rattles all of my leveling adjustments out of level constantly. I bought a Bosch 2 1/4 hp with a Jessem Mastr Lift 2 and use that as my primary...haven't had any issues yet with it being less power than a 3 hp unit! My .02! Bob |

I put teflon tape around the allen screws and never have had that problem. Youre just angry that its working so well for me and you had to buy a ninth router, Bob. If you have any heavy stuff you can always come over to use mine.

I tried the Teflon long ago...helped but didn't solve the issue. The biggest offender is the metal insert rings on the Incra plate. They've never sat right since the get go which is why I decided to better my table with the twist loc insert rings of the Jessem. I'm only on my 5th router...wish I had 9! 4 of them make me $ and the Triton is just collecting dust. I'll come over and work out that new router table for ya!  B |

That's probably the fanciest router table I've ever seen. darn, better than a cup of coffee and a 5 hour energy drink for keeping your eyes wide open! It is huge, but if you think you're going to need that kind of real estate, what the heck, build 'em big. I've always loved that fence, but never bought one. Had plans many times to use it on a "homemade" table. I'd be curious to know how well the dust collection is with the CT 22 for chip extraction from the table top and inside the router housing. That's a lot of area to remove from. The stickers, hey that's your table, but I wouldn't put stickers on a router table top, however, you might want to use the stickers as templates and route out the Festool name, then have it painted in. Just a thought, since you've gone this far. Now, is there room for an LCD tv and mini fridge for breaks?
