If I did not know better I'd say there is a picture of Homer Simpson on that plywood cover. Nice work by the way.

Not many plumbers now  work with lead now endays.  The dormer im doing next week end is going to have brickwork built around it as I don't like lead work my self and I don't like facia sofet and barge board.  I have come up with an idea and got some steels made got them last week so the bricklayer will be able to build brickwork around the dormer inset into the roof. I wanna cause least amount of damage to the truss attic roof

Not true.i know a good plumber i always use who also has a few lads who work for him who i don't mind working on my job and they dont do lead. If you knew me you would know I am a perfectionist and have high expectations i know few bricklayers but would only use one of them on my jobs. i know quite a few joiners and only 2 of them would I trust to leave and do a good job and 1 more joiner but only with my precence. (site joiners) same with plumbers and this plumber does a good job but not lead.   One of the reasons y I have been struggling to get a joiner to give me a hand on this dormer as I only want a good joiner and lucky me I got the best joiner I can get in this area better than me [tongue]to give me a hand next weekend. No seriously he is know for being the best round here.
