Very nice little table! I need to make me a pair of these. The handles are a nice contrast to the cherry. What kind are they? I really have only one concern: the top. How are you accounting for expansion and contraction? Orienting the grain the other way would help solve the problem.

The handles are from Restoration Hardware. Expansion and Contraction? What's that? Seriously, on a piece so small, I didn't think it would generate forces that would overpower the glue, what do you think?

Thanks, and yes, Rey, I did the design myself, borrowing a bit from a jewelry box that belongs to my wife. I used this drawer glide tape from Rockler that seems to work very well, http://www.rockler.com/product.cfm?page=214 |
