South American Myrtle with attitude
« on: June 27, 2007, 11:07 PM »
Hi,

Here's another little box (300x200mm) made of South American Myrtle with some very slight feature visible.
The sides to front and sides to rear are dominoed. (2x5mm each joint)
The two boards for the top were butt jointed using a TS75. (Don't know why I bought all those Lie Nielsons)
The finish is courtesy of an RO150 and my finishing method detailed elsewhere.
This box is now on permanent display at Australian Furniture Timbers in Melbourne.

Regards,

Oilbert (seems appropriate)
