After one year of hobby woodworking, 22 cutting boards and one stool, I have just finished my toughest project yet - a side chair - birthday gift for my father. In Fine Woodworking magazine (Chairs and benches) I found a wonderful side chair from Kevin Rodel.

Congratulations on the nice work, you are well on your way to become a fine craftsman. Most would be craftsman would not take on such a challenge in their first year. Fine looking piece

Thanks! For my next project, I like to do waterfall bench. I'll be using ash wood.
