Thanks for the endorsement.  I was just looking at that.
I don't suppose it'll help at all bringing sheets downstairs, right?

Is the plastic handle still best for that?  I haven't found a good solution for carrying 4x8 than those plastic handles, some sweat and some hoping the load is balanced!!

Does it open up level/parallel with the ground?  One of the annoying things about many of these stands is that the top surface/roller/support will often be skewed relative to the ground, and so will not provide full support when you use it, for example, as a support surface for things coming off the table saw.  Or maybe I've just been using cheap ones.

I'll need to check that in the shop tomorrow and post a picture or two. If I'm not understanding your question correctly tomorow, just say so.

Reno,
take another look at the two images attached to my initial post. Yes you can bring the panel up level - see the the image on the right.
I do not see this as a sort of roll-out support while I'm running something through the table saw. I saw it as and use it strictly for moving a sheet from the storage area to the work station and then tilt it up to a horizontal position level** with whatever surface it will be worked on. -Hope we're on the same frequency.
**you can see that the device is height adjustable to be level with common saw table or other shop bench heights

Ok, I see now.  I was initially confused I guess by one of the images showing him feeding a sheet into his contractor's saw.  But it's not otherwise appropriate as an infeed/outfeed support for a table saw (which I occasionally need, since my table saw is mobile and has to be rolled into place when I use it).

Reno, sorry for this late reponse. Overlooked your post.
I'll take another look at your outfeed issue. I think it could work with some limitations. I'll let you know next week

the PortaMate will provide support for outfeed in a pinch as you can see.
