Hi everybody!

Is there someone who has experience with Metabo Flexo 500 and especially with the saw and router module? How do they compare to Festool CMS system? Can they be combined with the Festool TS 55/75 and the routers?

It seems to be much cheaper than the Festool system.

OK but could I attach the Festool  OF 2200 to the Metabo router plate or the TS 55/75 to the saw plate?

haahaa lol

sorry!  Not got a clue I very very much doubt it!  but if your willing to modify things im pretty sure you can get the OF2200 to fit but I dont think I would bother with the hassle unless I could take a closer look to see what needed doing to make it fit.

The router and jig saw they use in the video looks historic to be honest so... Not a system I would like to start buying into.

I agree that the „router and the jigsaw they use in the video may look historic” but I still see one good reason for me to be very interested - I can get the table together with the router/jigsaw plate for some 300 euro + 250 euro for the table saw module. So in total these are 550 euro!!!

If I go for the Festool CMS I’ll have to pay:

A bit more than 500 euro for the Basis System +
About 350 euro for the TS 55 module +
About 600 euro for the router module +
About 180 euro for the jigsaw module

It makes a total of 1630 euro which is three times more expensive.

At the end I have to emphasize that I have some Metabo tools and they are all of very high professional quality!

I've seen the saw up close but they wanted nearer 1000 euros  Scared for it so your price is a bargain. Not seen the router/jigsaw station.

It aint no CMS but probably a steal at the prices you quote.

You have to be careful with Metabo some stuff is very good and some is very iffy. Have you seen their track saw? Looks very err Chinese to me.
