I have always wanted to do a bit of metalworking, and got offered a great deal. Microlux mill/drill machine, and Microlux 7"x16" metal lathe, $400 for both.  Owner threw in a lot of extras, 4-jaw chuck, collet sets for both, quick-release tool post for lathe, clamping kits, etc.

Now I just gotta figure out how they work, and do a lot of practicing. The mill/drill can be converted to CNC for about $500, which I am seriously considering.

And I do need to get some end mills, a decent vise for the mill, and other cutters for both.

WOW!

That is an incredible deal, wish I had come across it. The lathe alone, bare, is almost $900 with shipping. And the Micro-Mark machines are some of the better versions of the mini-machines, they all mostly come from the same factory but are slightly different. Micro-Mark has a great reputation.

Enjoy the new toys and post some completed projects as you go.
