SawStop Contest to win 100,000th Saw
« on: October 03, 2017, 10:30 AM »
Contrary to those disliking the owners practices defending his patents and pushing for greater saw safety they have sold nearly 100,000 saws. As with most of the views on this "fan" forum extreme views do not represent those of the masses who buy things and use them without complaint.

Is that a lot of tablesaws?  I don't have any perspective when it comes to tablesaw numbers.  I would have thought in 13 or so years of making them it would have been more by now...

SawStop is also now part of the Festool family and were on display and being demonstrated at Connect. So who knows what could be in the offing. Maybe changes maybe not?  But it would seem that the originator is probably out of the picture.
