I saw this posted over at JLC and I thought some of you might be interested.  If you are looking for a deal on a 118" guide rail the Makita rail is on sale for $200.99 and free shipping (the Festool version is $300).  One caveat the Makita guide rail has a extra rib that prevent the Festool parallel guides from being attached, however, the rail can be modified for the guide to fit.

Makita 118" rail at Tool Barn.  I have never purchased anything from these from guys so I don't how they are to deal with.

There's a small rib on the rail that prevents the Makita saw from tipping with beveled.  You can cut a small section if the rib off at each end by grinding or even routing.  You only need to cut this rib to make the parallel guides to work, other than the rib the Makita rails are identical to the Festool rails.
