Where in London for Milwaukee tools?
« on: August 20, 2015, 06:52 PM »
Hello members of the FOG,

I've been primarily a lurker, and taking in all the helpful and informative posts. Today, I do need specific help from the community if possible. I'm based in the U.S., but I have family visiting London. Would anyone be able to recommend a retailer for Milwaukee tools? They have a few NAINA items such as the m12 fuel 5-3/8 saw that has a dust port built in. I believe the model no. Is m12ccs44-0 for the bare tool version.

Thank you and I hope to pay forward any help I can get with contributions myself.

I reckon your best bet might be to have it delivered to a UK address from someone like FFX. I don't recall London being the hub of tool retailers.

Tool list updated to reflect knowledge :: hammer, screwdriver, one pozi bit, and another bigger hammer.

I second that. Unless you know exactly where you are going it would be a nightmare with congestion charges and car parking and buses to tool shops could be a chalange.
Search the Internet for UK tools shops until you find exactly the product you are looking for and are happy with the price. Then have it posted to a UK address.
Most tool sites in the UK deliver the next day if you order early enough, and postage is usually free, if your order is over a certain amount.

D&M Tools in Twickenham are quite a well known retailer.
Slightly more expensive than FFX but probably a good chance they will have item in stock, although always worth phoning first!
