I finally tried to upload a test pic of my dog Saffire. I tried it from "Upload Images" and it said it was successfully uploaded (several times! ) but where did it go? I specified the Temporary Album since I don't have my own album yet. It is not there. I then tried going into the Temporary Album and doing it from there, again "file successfully uploaded" but no file. My wife will home soon and she's going to wonder where the 92lb. white fur ball is. Help!

That obviously did not work. I changed my profile and added the pic there, we'll see what happens!

I found your dog. He was hiding in the "ENHANCED FESTOOL MANUALS > Temporary" section. No reward necessary.

If you click on the album name, then use one of the "Upload" options in the main Gallery menu, you can place photos directly to your album. I also moved the photo of your dog to your album. Here's a direct link to your album: http://www.festoolownersgroup.com/CoppermineMain/thumbnails.php?album=94Matthew

92 lbs of Great Pyrenees seems like more than just a "ball of fur"! More like a small car or horse!

We're waiting for my 10 year old daughter and my dog to cross in weights again: right now she weighs 53 lbs, while my dog is about 65 lbs. At the rate my girl's growing, she'll be twenty before she outweighs him! Still - he knows who's boss

Nick, I think I would have someone for Vanessa to ride as well. My rescue half shepherd, half rottie is 89 lbs at 14 months. Fred

Well Nick, this will then be an excellent race as Vanessa is heavier but on the faster dog. Let the best team win. Fred

What about getting a picture into my profile? How do I do that? Those photos are known as "avatars." You can either upload your own photo, or use one of SMF's pre-made avatars. I put together a set of easy instruction on avatars, located in the "Forum Function & Design" board. Click here to see the avatar instructions. Matthew

Matthew,
I think you should change your by-line which appears at the end of your posts to include "professor of PC, internet and software applications." I have learned more about these subjects from you and others who have posted on FOG than all of the PC types at my company. I have also forwarded some of your tips to some of them and they have expressed their appreciation and that they did not previously know most of the information you provided.
